Default G2 Front End Help

Happy New Year to All........

Ready to work on the G2's front end.
Very loose/worn out.
Do I need to replace spindles or just the bushings?
Where is best place to order what I need?
Quite a bit of difference in pricing on the complete kits.
Did a lot of searching on here and it seems the spindles rarely are worn out.
Thanks in advance........

Complete kingpin kit would be the best.

Kingpins go bad, then check the wheel bearings. Then do the steering box (adjust, fill with grease). See what you have then. Your shocks might be toast as well.

Sho, I'm pretty sure the shocks need replacing.
Was going to attack that next.
Are there cross reference automotive shocks that work??
Thanks for the advice............

They are not cheap and I don't think anything else fits, cars don't use coilovers.

Hey Guys, Got the kit Dave suggested.
Removed the front wheels and then took old kingpin out.
I can see how it's supposed to work BUT I can't see anyway to get the new bushings in either of the holes. AAARGH. Holes are way small.
New pins and old pins are same diameter.
Any guidance on where I'm screwing up?
Thanks.............

Doc, thanx for making that mistake for me. I'm tackling that job in the spring and it was something I would do without your insight

Hey, has anyone installed grease fittings while they're disassembled or are they even necessary?
