Newbie looking for the next mod
Well I just found this site and it looks like a lot of guys with a lot of sweet carts, so i thought I would share with you mine. I have a G2 with a 7" lift and swamp fox 23x10x12 tire. I have also put on a torquer clutch kit on the secondary, a K&N air filter, drilled the main jet to get the fuel I wanted, and cranked the govoner adjustment as far as it would go. If anyone has some other cheap mods they would like share that would be appreciated. Thanks Bruce

Re: Newbie looking for the next mod
Very NICE cart. Welcome to BGW. I completely bypass the governor on my Yami's. It will give you a little more speed. Just take the cable from the pedal and run it straight to the carb and then adjust it so the carb throttle completely opens and completely shuts. The only problem you'll run into with a G2 is it has a rev. limiter that will shut the engine down for short bursts at high rpm.

Re: Newbie looking for the next mod
Welcome to BGW! Cart looks great! I really like the 12" wheels.
Maybe increase your exhaust flow. Different muffler, mod the stock muffler. Some guys just drill some holes in the muffler. More air + gas = more exhaust. |
