Default G1 engine cuts out at random

My g1 Engine will cut out at random. I have changed the plug, fuel filter cleaned carburetor. Tank is full. It only does it once it warms up. When you are driving the engine will start acting all most like it is running out of fuel. If you let off the petal and wait a few seconds then give it the accelerator again it will start running fine. Could crank seals do that ?

Crank seals can make them act goofy but I'd carry a spark plug socket with you and as soon as it starts acting up pull the spark plug and see if it's wet or dry if it's wet it's and ignition problem if it's dry it's a fuel issue and we can go from there

Mine was doing that and it ended up being a carb problem. You may want to adjust your carb float up a bit. It could be running lean and the process of slowing down and stopping is filling the bowl back up a bit.

Not sure what type of carb you have but I had a new China one of mine that was acting like yours' is. I didn't want to drop $300 on a real carb so I tried another China one and the cart has been running good since.

(UPDATE) I have been driving it alot in the past few weeks as it has been nice and I have had my kids so i have not been able to get out on the harley. I have found that it only does it once it is hot first 30-45 mins of driving the yamaha runs great but once it gets hot it starts doing the cutting out. I pulled over once while it was cutting out and pulled out the plug it look just fine. No signs of running lean or Rich. Could the coil be braking down? Or or any other ideas?

you can get a spark tester pretty cheap at most parts stores. After it cuts out install the tool and check for spark.
