First, check to see if one or both of the axle hub nuts are loose or that the hubs aren't stripped. Reconnect the forward/reverse shifter cables, shift into forward and reverse while spinning the secondary clutch. If good inside, you can rotate the secondary clutch and see one wheel turn (it's not posi), and you should also be able to find neutral.

If you decide to go onto the transmission, you'll need a new gasket. It's critical for clearances.

Besides having a bad Hub on the driver side rear I also took apart the secondary clutch and resurfaced it. I also flip the ramps then drilled a new hole for the bolt to go in. Posted a how to video.

Lol keep an eye on the clutch it's close to worn out when there's that big of groove on the scheeve.... It will wear through and eat belts or grenade I'd highly suggest paying the "100 and whatever" for a new one after watching your videos...

Been doing this to carts for years...I have never had a problem. My local golf cart shop guy suggested me trying it years ago and said he's done it ever since he can remember without any issues. Besides the clutch goes kaboom what do I have to lose? Price of a new belt and a new clutch??? I always keep an eye out on them and when they are completely worn I throw them out. I look at it like resurfacing a brake rotor....just my $0.02.

Yeah well kinda except you use a lathe to turn them down and make them true it's a little more precise than a grinder
