Default G16 project

Ok I bought this yesterday for $1400 and was told it was a 1997 after checking the serial number it shows to be a 1998. This is going to be a fun project it runs like a champ someone stuck a penny in the throttle assembly but I guess it didn't hurt anything

Very nice teardown and clean up. What are your plans? Just remove the penny and turn the 10mm nut all the way in....you will get max speed without bypassing the govenor. You could also order Tom's "CPP'S "speed spring". May your build be everything you wanted it to be...and your wallet alittle lighter. Later Dave

Go to site sponsor's...Cart Parts Plus..Yamaha performance parts...speed spring. Will make your accelerator pedal harder to push (in my opinion), but claims are up to 29 mph. I beleive it is very faster after the install. dave

The good thing is the dog won't make it go if he bumps it.

98 means you can put a limited slip in it! nice cart!
biased myself
hint see avatar =)

the penny is nice! means that go fast as adults - remove the penny and then let the kids drive

very little mechanical wear on the cart- notice the clutch pucks are hardly worn at all
