tensioner broke again

ok, need some help from you experts. i found out why i needed a shorter belt my tensioner was missing. so i installed a new one. well after about couple times of driving the cart. checked to make sure tensioner was still tight, broke again, i know i didnt have to tight. could it be a bent engine bracket or mount? i have a 96 g14 gas

Check the engine mounts, could be broken. I believe the tensioner should have 1/8" gap to allow the engine to move that much.

the front mounts or rear? i see the front are rubber mounts. i know now why had to pt a shorter belt.

Check both front and rear.

i have a g-9 does it have a tensioner?dont mean to high jack the thread but i have a broke front motor mount under the primary clutch ....would this cause the cart to pull to the left while giving it gas ?

Yes you have one under the air box. Replace the broken engine mount and check/adjust the tensioner, that should help with the pulling.
