Well I bought my G9 last fall, I still have not had a time to rebuild it.
but there was a golf cart sitting next to a dune buggy and a VW bug, Hmmm, I stopped one sunday and asked if he needed some VW parts, and then asked if he wanted to trade some VW parts for the golf cart he had. He said a lot of people have asked him to sell it and he said no, he just got it last year, But, he said he would swap it for some parts. So I brought him a block, pistons & cyl's, & heads. (All which I got free) and then towed it home on the trailer. It's a '97 G16A someone had removed only the motor, even the drive belt is there.
He told me a guy he knows, bought 12 '97 G16a's from a golf course and that he has 2 left with the motors. So I called him and he told me he wanted $600.00 for both of them, both are missing only the carbs. I asked him if he needed any VW parts, he doesn't have a VW, I told him I would come out this week end and look at them, he called me back yesterday and told me to bring the VW parts and he'll swap for both of them! , now we'll have 4 carts 1-G9 and 3- G16's
My neighbor was over and told me since I have 6+ acres. I should put some holes in and play golf. I told him the only way I hit golf balls is with a bat, or with my 300 Win mag!

i'm shure with that collection.....you could rebuild them all or complete one or two and sell parts to finance the projects. Good job! later dave

Well, after looking at them I got only one, to get the motor and small stuff I was missing, it's a part cart. I still need a starter, carb, & muffler. I will go back and check and see if the other two carts he has, has a muffler, I know they don't have the carb or starter.
I first need to get the G9 running first, before I rebuild the motor for the G16, but I'm collecting parts to be ready when time comes to work on it.
