Default My Cart won’t start when the seat is down

My cart will start and run fine when the seat is in the up position to get to the engine but as soon as I put it down absolutely nothing any thought

Sounds like a loose connection or broken wire that's getting flexed or moved when the seat is moved.

I know this may not apply to the golf cart world, but it's a good story anyway. In the outboard boat motor world, a motor that runs with the cover off, but not with the cover on has a exhaust leak that is filling the motor cowling up with "air" that can't be burned.

Yes that was my first thought but nothing visible and can’t find anything loose ???

OK. bassnjack. Look at where your seat mates with the body. Is there anything there that could touch anything?

Had a cart one time that did something similar, when a passenger sat in the cart, it wouldn't crank over.

It was the small ground wire that Yamaha doubled up at the starter with the big wire, it would pull out ever so slightly. You didn't state the model cart you have, but Id say you have a similar issue
