Default G-29 overdead radio ?

I have installed a overhead radio in my G29 and when I start the cart it lowers the voltage to a point that the radio turns off for a moment and then comes back on and reboots. Do other radio install do this or is it just the radio?
Is there a cure?

I agree, if your battery is dropping that much under starter load probably needs replaced.

I just got the cart and the battery looks new, but what do I know. Had it wired direct to battery and to the switched side of key sw with the same results. Put battery charger on and will check that way. Maybe a new battery is in the works. Jim

Turned out to be a battery problem. Jumper cables to another battery and no more drop out. I guess a new battery is next on my list

When you get the new battery run the cart in neutral wide open with volt meter directly on battery post should read 16ish volts to confirm voltage regulator is working
