Plowman install help
So I have my cart torn apart blocking the garage. I got the primary off finally after undoing the motor mounts and tilting the engine. Clutch came right off didn’t even need the puller. Problem is the factory bolt doesn’t seem long enough as it won’t reach the threads. Is the kit supposed to come with a new bolt? I know I can call tomorrow and ask don but wish I didn’t have it blocking the garage with the engine unbolted.

Re: Plowman install help
I couldn’t figure it out on my own so I called plowmans back today. They forgot to send me a new bolt to put the primary back on.

Re: Plowman install help
Got the correct bolt in and everything installed. Went through all the adjustments yesterday on the phone and the cart flys now. The thing ran 12mph on gps when I first got it. Now after wheels/tires and plowmans kit it hit 31 mph before I can out of room in my neighborhood. Think it’ll do a few more on an open stretch.

Re: Plowman install help
What adjustents did you go through on the phone? I installed my primary yesterday. Only think I knew to adjust was clutch bolt torque and starter-generator belt tension.

Re: Plowman install help
I wonder why 0.008" instead of 0.004". Did he explain that? Is that recommended when governor is bypassed? I just set mine at 0.004", they measured 0.007" before adjusting.

Re: Plowman install help
Is the governor completely bypassed or just tightened down?
