G2 Toe/Camber/wobbly wheel question.....
It's been a long road in fixing up this old cart but i feel like we can enjoy it for pool runs etc now. I finally got around to putting on some new wheels and tires last week to spiff her up. Anyways, the front left tire kind of wobbles a bit while going down the road and I already noticed just a bit of grind on the inside of the tire. To me it appears (pic below) that the left tire may toe in? Could that be right? Guessing I need to adjust it. I am in outer space when it comes to alignments and toe/camber. What should i do? Should i loosen that nut on i think the torsion bar and turn that bar in or out to adjust? Am i in the right line of thought here? Help?
Here's my cart. |

Re: G2 Toe/Camber/wobbly wheel question.....
i rotated a couple tires to see if the wheel was out of round and it's not the wheel. I then spun the hub by hand and it appears that the wobble is coming from the hub either being bent or warped or maybe the bearings are messed up? It rotates ok enough but i do notice that it's the reason for the wobble and it's ever so slight but more pronounced with that big wheel on.
My question is this from the bearings or should i just get a new hub? I guess maybe the hub took a shot at some point resulting in it's current state. How do i get the hub off? i can't even get that far. |

Re: G2 Toe/Camber/wobbly wheel question.....
Wobble is more than likely the king pin or it could be your wheel bearing also. Camber looks fine, toe isnt terrible either. Yes adjusting the rod from your steering box will adjust the toe. Loosen the nuts and turn the bar. If you have not had them apart, you will for sure want to soak them in liquid wrench. Good luck.
