G2 won't start
My Yamaha G2 slowly died while on a neighborhood drive a few weeks ago. Here is what I have done/checked.
1) It has spark 2) Fuel pump pumps to carb inlet...so it has gas too. 3) Has 150 psi compression 4) Removed and cleaned carb 5) Will not even fire with starting fluid sprayed right in sparkplug hole (with plug reinserted of course) Occasionally, it will fire with all sorts of blue smoke. Will go to full throttle. I release the throttle and try again.... no go. Only the battery cranks the starter with no fire. Help! Thanks. |

try a different spark plug
this happened to mine same thing to me my plug had great spark i was getting fuel good compression i put gas in carb nothing put gas in spark plug hole nothing new plug started right up |
