Need a little advise on a G1
Having trouble with my G1. It accelerates really good then Boggs down and sputters. But it still runs just cuts out. I’ve cleaned the carb twice changed fuel and fuel filter cleaned the metal fuel line and replaced the rubber lines checked the fuel pump it seem to be working ok, but doesn’t look like the original it is square. I’ve checked the plastic carb spacer it ok the reeds look good don’t see an oil leaking from the crank case either. Doing all these I discovered that the oil pump is not working my first clue was the fuel in the tank was premixed. Don’t mind that I’d rather premix anyway. I also noticed what I think is an overflow or return on the carb not sure where it needs to go as it did not have a hose connected to it when I got the cart. The cart sat for about a year and survived a Hurricane.

Try adjusting your carb float down. Your float bowl may be emptying out too far.

That makes since. I noticed when I hit a bump or drive over ruff ground it starts acting normal. I’ll give it a try. Thanks
