Default Blown fuse G1

Ok I finally got everything back together. I hooked the battery up and I could hear sizzle for a second. I check some things and found that a previous owner put a fuse wrapped in foil in the fuse holder behind the solenoids. I put another one in since I have those on hand, but it keeps blowing them. I didn’t notice this before. Any ideas?

Can you post pictures of the wiring? Where do the leads go and come from? Definitely a less than ideal wiring situation...

Hopefully these upload. As soon as I attach the fuse holder together it blows.

I will say that the black wire broke and I tried a fuse in it and it didn’t blow. Also I turned the key and reverse worked or at least the back up buzzer came on.

One last thing. We cut on accident that black wire, the cart engages turn it to reverse and the buzzer goes off. The engine will not engage though. But that wire is cut my mind is blown lol

Certainly need to go through and clean up, replace bare wires. It also looks like some of your wires are a bit melted? That would point to bad/loose connections. You will want to go through and clean any and all connections, as well as make sure they are tight. I would start with that.

I may be wrong on this point, but that one picture where the bolt broke, looks to be a grounding to the frame? From what I have seen, that is not normal on golf carts. However, yours might be different than the norm. Will need to look into that more...
