deer lease cart
just bought and lifted a g-16 put the new clutch spring kit in it. still does not have the torque requiremnets i desire. would like to creat a real off road cart. open to suggestions.

You can try a shorter belt but it will take away from the top end. Other than that, v-twin will be your option.

if you what to pull hard up a trail with two or four guys on board or able to pull a 260lb mule dear, etc! a 18hp v-twin or bigger is the only real way to go if you don't mind spending the money.

Can you give me any specs on what I am looking for in a v-twin? what where how cost. Please know how greatful I am for the assitance I am recieving with this info. Thank you very, very much. When I first started into the world of Golf Carts I felt like I fell into a black hole. But slowly but surely I am finding sites like this one and I am finaly seeing the light.

Again I say check the belt you have on it, measure the belt and be sure it is not stretched or worn narrow, either one will affect your lower pulling power.

G-16's are bad about winding up before taking off. Mine, even with the torque kit did this to some extent. If it will pull hills ok, then it's just all the little engine has. I will say my G9 seems to have more torque than my G16 did which seems crazy since the G16 has a bigger engine and no contracting engine mounts.
