Default can I get a touch more speed

I have a G2A and was wondering if there was anything I could do to get a touch more speed out of it?

I have looked through some past threads and one caught my attention. It was on how to bypass the govenor but I am not so sure that is a good idea. I am familiar with the linkage for the gov and throttle but not sure how to adjust the gov.

I believe there are some pics of the linkage on here. Do a search. I would adjust the gov. first and see if that is enough speed... Then bypass if ya need more... There's a bunch of Yammy Guys on here who should be along shortly...

Basically just tighten the 10mm nut on the gov. Some guys will zip tie it.

The only thing your going to run into with a G2 is the rev limiter. Once you reach a certain rpm that engine cuts back and feels like it shuts off and then kicks back in. It will more than like scare you the first time it happens. The first time it happened to me, I thought I had blown the engine.

tighten the 10mm nut untill it can't go no more. it won't hurt you and it causes no damage.
