Smelly G1
I've got an 82 that seems to run and start great even in colder weather. I've noticed when the wind is to my back there is occasionally a strong fuely odor when slowing to a stop. Is this normal ?? Thanks for any help. SB

Re: Smelly G1
Most 2 strokes do smell due to burning gas/oil mixture. If it is running ok, I wouldn't worry about it unless it is very excessive. My G16 always had an exhaust smell to it as well. Your muffler could be getting clogged, but I would start tearing things apart unless it starts running bad.
