Those engines will tolerate different ratios. Most most folks run 100 to 1. Personally, I run 85 to 1 as, between golf carts, law mowers, weed whackers, etc. 85 to 1 is about the average for them when looked at in totality. I am not about to have 8 different cans of gas for my machines when 85 to 1 does it for all of them.

Agree. I ran 85:1 using Echo brand oil from Home Depot. Never had an issue. The factory oil injection ratio is 150:1 to 300:1 depending on load, according to the service manual.

Agreed on the specs, but if my weed whacker says 50:1, that's what I'm doing. Also, my buddy was a "lead guy" for land maintenance for a resort community (now the "big dog" for the whole department), and he also said you couldn't go wrong with the Echo oil.

Ditto on the weed whacker. I have a blower and chainsaw too, and I mix both of those at 50:1 as well. It's crazy to think that 150:1 or even 300:1 is enough oil for a golf cart engine, but.....Yamaha says lol! Most dirt bikes used to be 50:1, I don't know what they are now. They might use an oil injection system of some sort.
