Default Any way to stop the engine from shutting off

Learning as I go with the new quiet 2 cart. Speed is great but the cart needs constant throttle or it shuts the motor off for fuel efficiency. Any way to shut this off so the motor stays running and doesn't want to shut off every time you stop?

Thata kind of the general principal of how a golf cart operates, it's what they're designed for. To start the motor when you press the pedal and shut it off when you stop. Perfectly normal.

They can be made to idle and not shut off with the key, but I wouldnt recommend it. It's not how the motor was designed to operate and without adequate air flow in an air cooled engine trapped under an enclosed seat, theres a much higher chance of premature engine wear or overheating.

Not to mention you’ll jam things up trying to shift from forward to reverse and back while it’s idling. Ask me how I know

Thanks for the feedback. Just getting use to a gas cart after having 2 electric carts. Everything else on the cart is great. It really likes to cruise at 20 or higher. Start and stopping in small areas is a pain.

I can see how going from an electric cart it would be "different" but you'll get used to it. Just don't worry about it and drive it like you always have, you won't even notice it in a while :)

Solved the jumping problem. I had to loosen the throttle cable back. This allows the engine have a little more time to start going without wanted to jump and shut off when you let off the gas.
