G29 Parking Brake Release
According to the instructions on my G29 the parking brake is supposed to release when I press the accelerator. This isn’t happening, any suggestions?

Re: G29 Parking Brake Release
There is some mechanical connections and linkages between the brake mechanism and accelerator pedal. It's probably rusty, dirty, or worn. Look in your repair manual and compare what you see on your cart with the pictures in the manual. It's likely that you need to adjust or replace one of the parts. If it's really rusty, try spraying some penetrating oil on all the moving parts. You can get under there with a flathead screwdriver and try to wiggle some parts free. Be careful not to use too much force or you could bend or break some of the parts.

Re: G29 Parking Brake Release
Its usually a simple adjustment of the rod or the bolt that kicks the hill brake off. Not very common issue, but a simple fix. Should be able to just look at it and see whats not working.
