Default Yamaha Drive G29 secondary clutch replacement

Hey,

I’m trying to replace a secondary clutch on my Yamaha Drive G29 for a high torque clutch. When trying to remove the original, it hits the frame of the cart. Is there a way I can remove the clutch other than by just sliding it off? Is there something else I should be looking at? All the videos I’ve watched everyone takes the bolt off and just simply slides the old clutch off.

You must have the 2015 and newer model G29, because that's the one where the clutch hits the frame unless you loosen up the axle.

Little bit more work to get that one off, but like stated, you need to loosen up the axle bolts. We thank the manufacturer for putting money in our pockets

I did warranty work for the manufacturers in California. The law there is they have to pay prevailing wage. Im going to assume Arizona is not that way

That, and the book time is stingy. If I were doing that all day, repeatedly, I would be beating book time (when the "pedal group recall" came out in '07, we did a few fleets, and I was kicking the books a$$).

I found it to be the other way around, and to make money on warranty work you have to beat there time allotted. I remember EZGO txt steering box, book time was an hour, I did 3 in an hour. With the right tool and find shortcuts, you can make it profitable.
