Re: G22a not starting
Did you check the battery voltage while it is trying to start? You might have a bad or a loose cable, or your starter generator brushes are shot.

Re: G22a not starting
Morning
Every now and a gain it would stop and not start and you would need to play with the pedal or rock the cart and it would then go. I did have the battery check and was fine, I replaced the solitude and I have also had the Starter generator checked and the brushes where a little warn but Ok, but was very dirty which was cleaned up. After I re fitted the generator it started but sounded like the belt was a little loose so switched off and tightened the belt and then when tried to re start it would try to turn and then stop. But maybe the battery is now to low will check. Otherwise Will have to maybe have the generator brushes checked again and replaced to make sure. I thought it maybe the stop Reply next to the Solitude as with this out it dose the same thing. |

Re: G22a not starting
That's what I was going to say, battery. As Luke suggested you need to check the battery voltage under load. Battery needs to be charged, then load checked. Those starter gens suck a ton of amps and I've seen decent batteries struggle with them. Some golf carts, depending on condition, need to spin really fast to get started. Tune up, valves adjusted, new fuel is always a must.
