What the heck have i purchased????

Hello.... i just bought a Yamaha 5 seater gas golf cart that i can find no info on? It is a strech cart with 2 in the front and 3 in the back all facing forward... It only has Jap writing on it except for "Turf Liner" writen on the hood. The serial #JT1 102500...... The people i bought it from said they bought a container of them from Japan.... 2000 model.

Anyone else have one of these?

I want a lift kit but don't know what model i have?

Take some pics of the suspension and we might be able to tell if there is a production lift kit available.

I dont get any hits on the serial number or the turf liner? I think we'll need pics.

The carts at my lake house so i will get some pics this weekend.....

It looks identical to the one pictured in that web address i gave...

Whats crazy is we tried to take off the governer and the throtle is by wire to a computer....not by a cable. If you try to manually pull the carb open while your running it, it will cut fire from the ignition and kill the motor. The computer completly controls the engine by activating a electric motor with a pulley on it that the throtle cable is hooked to...

We even tried a bigger pulley for more pull on the carb but the computer just pulled the cable back to stock governed speed......

Also it has some sort of remote control function that allows the cart to be driven completly on its own.... Stering and motor! U can't get the remote as far as i know.... There is a huge yamaha computer under the front seat along with a electric motor tied to the front stering, and a remote control box mounted on the roof.... Very Weird

Yep...pictures would be nice. I can't wait to see what your describing. I'd love to have a remote controlled cart!
