Will a 4cyl tach work?
I have a tach for a 4cly, will it work on a 1cyl motor?

NO. When I was buying a tach it was specifically for a 2 or 4 stroke and 1 or 2 cylinders.... So I don't think your 4 cylinder Tach is gonna work on the 1
