Default Just purchased a yamaha G1

I just purchased this G1 and put the wheels off my club car on the G1. the problems I have include the following.
1. it seems I need to pull the choke to get it to run. once it start running it seems to run just fine. is this a problem or is this normal.

2. I installed my 12 inch low profile tires and they rub on the front fender. I shaved about 1/2 inch but still rub. is there a way I can lift the body about an inch or so so it stops rubbing. I really like the way it looks with the 12 wheels and I dont really want to install a lift kit.

any ideas?

Cart looks good!

I think you will have to trim more off the body. Don't see how you could lift just the body.

That is how mine works when it is cold(engine temp not ambient air temp) I am too new to know if it is normal either but it is how mine works

Choke to start is OK. Choke to keep it running is a problem.

Wow, that cart really looks good! Nice colors and the wheels really set it off.

thanks for the replies guys. I am in the process of making the shorty windshield. I make some aluminum plates for each corner where the winshild will be bolted on to. I need to cut the frame and get it welded and then find the plexiglass. shouldnt be too difficult.
