Just purchased a yamaha G1
I just purchased this G1 and put the wheels off my club car on the G1. the problems I have include the following.
1. it seems I need to pull the choke to get it to run. once it start running it seems to run just fine. is this a problem or is this normal. 2. I installed my 12 inch low profile tires and they rub on the front fender. I shaved about 1/2 inch but still rub. is there a way I can lift the body about an inch or so so it stops rubbing. I really like the way it looks with the 12 wheels and I dont really want to install a lift kit. any ideas? Last edited by texasranger225; 06-08-2009 at 01:48 PM.. Reason: fix misspelled words |

Cart looks good!
I think you will have to trim more off the body. Don't see how you could lift just the body. |

Choke to start is OK. Choke to keep it running is a problem.

Re: Just purchased a yamaha G1
thanks for the replies guys. I am in the process of making the shorty windshield. I make some aluminum plates for each corner where the winshild will be bolted on to. I need to cut the frame and get it welded and then find the plexiglass. shouldnt be too difficult.
