what about the stock motor?
i know the big thing to do is drop in a vanny motor, but what about the stock yamahammer motor? any hy-po parts out there for it? valve springs,timing advance key,pistons,cam?

here are some parts that you can get for your stocker. . .I am thinking about ordering the Airfilter, Jet, Exaust, Clutch, Advanced timing key, and Carb over bore. . . .. at that point I might as well do the port too, but for yamaha he seems to be the best The air box mod is something that anyone can do with a Dremel or like tool.. I don't know how good it makes the motor, but I think I am going to give it a try. Hope this helps |
