Default G1 Flooding?

My just rebuilt G1 with new carb seems to be flooding. It starts quick when cold or after sitting overnight, but after running and trying to restart it seems to be flooding and takes a while to start. I have tried carb adjustment but see little difference. Could this be the float set a little high on this new carb?

Thanks for the reply New Guy. I am going to try setting the float. I am also going to order a new carb joint or mount as I now notice some cracking in the one on it now. Don't think this would cause the flooding, but know it has to help make it run better.

Tried setting the float and seemed to help a little. May still be a little off so I am waiting on the new carb mount to arrive, install it and recheck the float
