Question Where is Neg Coil Wire on G-16

Does anyone know to to locate the negative coil wire on G-16, came across the Sunpro CP2012 which is suppossed to be excellent 2 Cyl Tach
but need to find the Neg Coil wire to connect - or anybody have any suggestions ???

Sorry IA, just came accross this thread. You dont have a 2cyl engine. This tach wont work.

Which do you sugg I stick with the Equus Series ..68 with induct pick-up

wrap the pick up wire directly around the outside of plug wire @top of engine ?

I went with the Equus, its easy to set up and once I get the inductor set up right again, it'll work

This is my dilema - inductor set up is it just as easy to wrap the wire AROUND the OUTSIDE of the spark plug wire and it should work ?
I hear both yes & no

YES! The problem with the Tiny Tach is the delay. Ideally with the Equus you get real time readings.
