Default G-22 Gas Lift Issue

Great forum here folks!

I'm having an issue with my 03 G-22

I purchased and installed a 6" Jakes lift, along with some 12" rims and 22" all terrain style tires.

I torqued everything to the best of my ability and had buggiesunlimted mount the tires upon ordering.

The issue is:

After the install going down the road the cart vibrates horribly. With hands off the steering wheel it vibrates prob 1.5-2" back and fourth, I can watch the rear tires shake as well..

I've tried all kinds of air pressure, with zero fix.

I did install the firmer aftermarket rear springs as well

What i'm wondering is if cart tires require balancing? Are they turning fast enough where they need it?

Also It looks as if my toe is out in the front, does that really matter on a cart? I didn't change it, its been like that since the day it was bought and was fine with the stock tires. Also before the lift the cart handled and rode smooth as silk.

Any ideas?

Toe is very important. Jack the cart up and spin the wheels. Sounds like they are out of round. You may have to get them to replace them.

They do look out of round when i spin them...

Is that a typical problem? Do they need some miles put on them to fix that?

These are the tires we got : http://www.buggiesunlimited.com/golf...ire/T02%202210

Does anyone know if these are bias ply or radials?

Problem is, Buggiesunlimited said they would send us a new set, but if they tested the ones we had, and they turned out to be good, they would basically charge us for 8

0-1/8" in at the front. Closer to 0 on the spindle. The tire are bias ply. All Trails are good tires. Check where the bead seats on the rim. There is a line on the tire, check to see that the tires are seated correctly on the rim. You may be able to remount them and be okay.

Nothing personal jeepin but if we had a nickel everytime someone bought something over there and then had to come here to resolve their issues we could afford monthly cart give aways.

Make sure the tires are seated on the rim and also check rim for out of round. One the rear, make sure the rim is seating over the centering ring of the axle and flat against the drum face.
