Default Carb trouble

Got my carb in for my G16 and it has 2 tubes to it 1 on a 90 stright down and the other straight out. My old one just has 1 tube. Could someone tell how to hook it up or will it even work on it? I did try it and hooked it up like I did the old one and the sec one just left open and it cranked up good and ran for about 2 miles and started acting up. Now when it turns over it kick gas over the other tube and want start.....Thanks for any help I luv this site...

The "straight out" is the feed from the fuel pump. The 90 straight down is the overflow. Can't understand why your stock one did't have the clear plastic tube attatched to the overflow? Can you post a picture of both?

Than I had it hooked up right but now it pours gas out of the over flow what would cause that on a new one when it turns over. Thanks

Sounds like the float is not shutting off fuel supply. G16 carb floats are not adjustable. Where did you get the carb from?

I would say...The time and joy you and your son will have building this cart is.............Priceless! Please let him get his hands "dirty". 500 bones for the cart or the carb?

He gets his hands dirty along with my 2 girls they have enjoyed it. They are ready to ride. Still have gas dumping when I turn it over. 95.50 for carb not bad if I get running right....
