Default Question abou performance parts.

1. Is the speed spring faster than turning the 10mm nut in all the way? What is the advantage of it.

2. Has anybody had plowman's rebuild of the front shocks. Did it help?

3. How easy is the plowman's airfilter/jet kit to install? Is the filter reusable? If so it is at a very good price. Does anyone have this? Does it make a difference?

Thanks

speed spring is much stiffer then the factory spring in the gov. from what i hear the nut all the way out on the speed spring is equal to the nut all the way in on the factory one.

they dont rebuild the shocks from what i understand just Shim them thats what there called shock shims, i havent had it done or heard of anyone doin it

and if you have the right cart the hotset up is WELL worth it from i hear. and you dont install the jet/airfilter kit. you take off your carb and your air box and ship it to them they modify and send back

thats all fine and dandy but to get the advantages of that you need a better exaust as well. the air filter and jet will do little to no good with out the exaust.

I just did mine with plowman’s stuff
The carts rocks no one can pass me now on the campground

If you get the hot setup you have to send your carb in because they modify it

For me that is close to impossible to do since I live in Canada,
So I got the air filter & jets, moded the air box myself, also did the governor trick

Don guided me over the phone on how to do it myself , since I use to sell & repair carts it wasn’t that hard to do , I tried it without the muffler but I ended up buying one since it gets rid of the awful smell caused by the insulation ,

Is clutch kits are awesome also design for different usage depending on the cart & usage, is belts are stiffer & both clutch sheaves are machines to a different angle to match the belt.

The week after I had to reorder another kit for a friend who ones a g16 , I am still waiting on the belt to settle in before I can notice the big difference not quit as fast as my G22 but a smaller engine 56cc less.
