Default Are G9's spose to smoke???

i feel like im driving an old clunker, but all never get lost just follow the smoke!! Anyway, are they spose to smoke? if so, would it be alot... or a little?? thanks any help is appreciated

Not unless they're on fire!!!!! Could be a couple things, how's the engine perfomance?

As long as it is 50 feet from a building door I think it is ok. They passed the no smoking law here in TN first of the year.

my 1990 G2 doesn't smoke at all.runs great.might be rings are worn.what color smoke?

Could be too much oil overflowing into the air box and through the carb. One quart only, the dipstick on these models misreads. Check to see if your air filter is soaked with oil.

agreed. or it could be bad rings like dock said. is the cart lifted?

white smoke, my buddy said i may have to replace the rings, im going camping this week, and gonna take it up there will it be okay to drive if it is bad rings?? would you know where i can purchase rings for my G9? Thanks

watch your oil! could be rings or the valve seals
