Calling All Yamaha Drive Owners
Hey guys looking for a little info. Any of you Drive owners having any transmission trouble or noises? I talked to west coast distributor and he said they replaced 35 transmissions already, Said gears are soft starts with a ticking sound.

I don't know anyone that has one yet but this doesn't sound good for Yamaha. If anyone has any detailed 'under the seat' pic's, I would like to see the setup.

Remember, I only was talking about the drive train because it's what James asked for.

My opinion, Yamaha has always been the favorite of mine. Simply for the fact that they are built like tanks, easy to work on when you have to, and usually its something very minor. Also, they are very inexpensive and easy to mod. The clutch system is one of the best for power that I've seen in my opinion and the frame setup on the older models is excellent as far as stability goes when lifting one.

These rear end change outs have only been on electric Drives.
