Question G1 engine swap

hello has anyone out there ever installed a quad engine in a G1 golf cart I am in the process of putting a trx200tx honda quad motor in my G1 and was just wondering how to do the rear diff I was planning on machineing A hub for the rear diff to mount the rear sprocket to but am unsure how this will work because of gear ratio I really dont want to build a new rear axle if I dont have to. I need some advise:

Default Re: G1 engine swap

Lots of G1's have had different engines put in them but you will loose reverse if you use the rear end. I have a snow mobile engine that I have been told that it will run in reverse like the G1 engine will but I have yet to get it to start in reverse.
