Re: Another torque kit problem check it out for me
you replace the c clip with the input shaft spacer. and i don't think you should have 2 spacers on the shaft, the kit you bought came with one right?

Yes the kit came with a new spacer but the one that was on the car doesn't seem to come off and I don't see a c clip anywhere at all. Thanks Jason

Re: Another torque kit problem check it out for me
i did one on my g9 and you swap the c clip for the spacer (1 not 2) and put it all back together with the heavery spring. check the yamaha gas section for the Sticky: Yamaha Torque Kit Instructions this will help you figure it out.

Maybe there was a spacer on it before you bought it?

Re: Another torque kit problem check it out for me
Like I said earlier it doesn't seem like that first spacer comes off should I just leave off the spacer that came with the kit? also I cant find any kind of c clip anywhere. Thanks Jason

Re: Another torque kit problem check it out for me
The first spacer replaced the c-clip on your car. If it were me, I would remove the second spacer, then try to remove the first spacer by working 2 screw drivers in behind the first spacer, from oposite sides and gently pry from the tranny case to remove the first spacer. then use the new one that came with kit. Keep the old one for a back-up.
