Default Wheel and Tire

Can someone please tell me if these size tires 18/ 8.50/ 10 will be a little taller than the regular 8 inch ones I have on my G1 now? Im looking for just a small amount of lift and a little larger wheel and tire.
thanks.

No I dont think so. It will just be less tire and more wheel.

I would try just getting some really knobby tires, that will raise it up an inch or so. Let me try to find a link...

Well it depends on what kind of rim you want. See its the same type tire in each one just a different design of rim. All of them are the same size though!

Yamaha4life I certainly do appreciate your help. My main problem with this is I dont know the meanings of the sizes. So do you think that if I pick one of the rims that I like and the tires that goes with that rim they will lift my cart a little. My main concern is to get just a little lift from the wheel and tire size than what is on the cart now. If I can remember right the rims on the cart right now are 8 inch so if I move to say a 10 or 11 inch rim I will get a little lift right.
Thanks again my friend.

If you move to a 10 inch rim but don't get a larger tire, you are not getting any lift. It's kind of like a donut with a bigger hole. The outside of the donut is the same size, it's just now a low-profile donut.

You can call Tom at Cart Parts Plus (1.888.861.2640) and see what he can get.

This tire would work well for you, I think. It would give you a little more traction than the standard sawtooth tread but not be hard on the turf. 2" taller than what you have now.

Being 1" wider all the way around, it's probably the largest you will get under the G1 without a body lift of some sort.

Well let me see if I can help with my little understanding of math and numbers...

Ok lets give a tire size 20-x11-8. The 20 inch is the diameter of the tire. The 11 inch is the height of the tire. The 8 inch is the size of the rim it takes. So a 20-x11-10 would still be a 20 inch diameter and a 11 inch hieght but just takes 10 inch rims. So technically you wouldnt lift but I dont know because Ive never compared two tires like that side by side. I would really look at the agression of the tread on the tire instead of the rim size. Those will give you a lift, and I know they work on a stock G2, but Im not positive on a G1. Hopefully a G1 guy will get on here and help you there. Those are really good tires in mud and loose stuff, and take the bumps good. If it was me I would get those and try them and see how they do on your cart. But at the same time I dont want to say "Oh yeah they will work no doubt" because Ive never tried them, but technically they will work.
