Default serial number question

I think I have the G1 as I have bucket seats but am not sure what model year it is. I have looked for the serial number in the location that it tells me to look on the sheet. Anyone know of other places or ways to tell the year and model? It does say speacial edition on the side of the cart on the metal. Thanks for the help!

After reading some more posts on here I seen alot of people talk about the motor having the same identification and I looked where other people have said and this is the number S215-031426. Does that help at all?

The Serial Numbers Should Start With A J10 Or J38 And Then Have 6 More Digits. Hope This Helps.

Wally,

Look just under the rear bumper. It's not a plate, the numbers are stamped in the metal, and if like mine were very hard to see. Take a rag with some water to wipe off the metal back there. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the welcome TheNewGuy. This looks to be a great site! I have looked at all those locations on that sheet and even have take a wire brush to help clean off those locations and am unable to find any numbers. Does that motor number have anythign to do with it? As far as the last 6 digits?
(S215-031426) from the way it looks in a lot of other questions that people have asked the last 6 numbers seem to be the same.

Well after an hour of a wet rag and even using a wire brush/cordless drill with a wire brush nothing is stamped into the square frame. Any other locations that would be of help?

The diagram for G1 (lower right) shows the number on the drivers side rear. For the heck of it, check the passengers side rear.

I have actually used a wire brush on that whole back frame. Even took the bumper off to make it faster. Couldn't find a single thing on that passanger side either.

This is the only other info I can find. Not much help though.
Someone may have done some work back there and sanded it off?
Hopefully Dave will see this, he is the main man!! DAVE HELP!!
