Now for big wheels and a lift kit
Since I've finally got my cart running it's time to plan on some go faster things, a lift kit and bigger tires. I'll wait until I use it a couple of weeks before playing with it to make sure there are no running issues. Dangest thing is that when looking at my posts from last Aug. is Spriddle thought ignition box was bad but my problem went away on it's own then started up again. I incorrectly thought I was having a fuel problem with dirt or crud in the carb jets. I fixed that by removing the carb several times cleaning it each time. It would run good but eventually start acting up. Finally I broke the float housing casting when replacing the float pin. I guess I'm a slow learner.
Now my cart will be mainly used on the "back 40 fields" behind my house and a gravel lane never on blacktop. What would be a good lift kit and what size tires. I really like the tires on "Crash's" wife's cart and am leaning toward Jakes 6 inch lift kit. What do you guys suggest. Most of my terrain isn't too hilly. |

Re: Now for big wheels and a lift kit
I'll work on the pics as soon as I get something done and will post a few pics in the general bs threads of some of my past project cars. I promise the the big tires won't be on top of the cart, maybe the Jake's lift kit but not the tires. I thought everyone would enjoy a good laugh at a newbie to carts and my total messups lol
