The first 2 pic's are your primary clutch, you need a special puller to take it off (it's "swedged" onto the tapered crank shaft). The 3rd pic is of your flywheel and a standard type puller (were you can use 3 bolts threaded into the flywheel) will work. Your always looking for more tools, aren't you? I've seen in some of your posts you buy from discount tool companies, I'm not a fan, they may or may not do the job the first time before being damaged. As for the clutch puller, look at the sticky for "tool loan", maybe someone close will let you borrow one for the shipping costs. The 3 way puller should be in your tool box. Ain't golf cars fun

There are some aluminum etching cleaners out there in the autoparts houses made by Eagle One that might clean that up but I dunno? for sure ...

I will get screamed at for this. Tear it down till you can see its mother and bead blast with glass bead, need less to say protect all machined surfaces.

That doesn't call for "screaming" at. Protect all you can and go for it. I've seen painted engine blocks also and they look "trick"

It doesn't look like your gonna get that staining off w/o taking it all apart or, and this will be a GIANT p.i.t.a., polishing it all off with some type of aluminum cleaner.

A spray on aluminum cleaner is only gonn make it cleaner but it ain't gonna take those stains out.

I vote to paint it.....say it with Krylon man

The Harley rocker-boxes, lower legs and wheels do the same thing (if they're not chrome). Thats corrosion in the aluminum itself you'll have to scotch-brite it and buff it out if you want it gone. You won't get a shine until you get that corroded surface completely off and get down to new metal. You'll always have "dark spots".

My suggestion would be to get yourself a rattle can of hi temp caliper paint ....... acid etch the block like everybody else said, maybe scotch-brite as much of it as you can and squirt the paint on it.
