Mid 90s G8 ?

Yep a G8. Look just forward of the battery and you should see a plate (mounted verticaly) with the serial#. It will start with JF2-*****. Also seems its been updated with a later rear body (like G16's), can't see if they did the front cowel swap also.

ya the did do a front cowl swap also i put a 6 inch lift on it drilled out main jet uni air filter and 1 inch exhaust and i have 22 10 8 lumber jacks on it so im assuming it does have a cdi rev limiter correct? and does any one know whats a good front suspension shock to use in the front after you lift them. and im having one other issue i went to start the cart the other day and it wouldn't turn over. solenoid clicked and generator/starter just sat and buzzed put the charger on it for an hour and it worked fine all day. acted like it was never dead thanks for the help lots of questions i know but im thankful for your help.

now i went to start it this morning and absolutely nothing no buzzing or any thing i think it might be in the ignition because the solenoid is not clicking no buzzing of the starter or anything i have trouble believing its the battery because i threw it on the charger for 10 minutes yesterday when it would start all of a sudden its working fine and drove it all day yesterday cd player on and light but now the cd player wont even come on its wired through the ignition?

You might try CD players Gone Wild, but.. then again.

Mine did the same thing, I just charged it, and we're on !

I think it's because it was idling, and it ran out of gas..so the starter just sat there and turned the motor till it died.

I put gas in it, and voila ! No more issue !

If you put a quick charge on it and it started I would say you have a bad or corroded starter cable(s) or connections choking the amps.
A simple test will tell you if it is the low volt starter circuit (small wire connection, fuse, micro switch, key switch)
or the high amp starter circuit (big cables)
You starter solenoid has two small terminals on it. A positive and neg wire connect to them, If you're not sure which is which, remove both and run two jumpers from your battery to the small posts, doesn't matter which side.
If it spins over you have a low volt circuit issue.
If it does not turn over you have a bad/low battery, loose or corroded cable or connection, bad solenoid or starter brushes.

I would lean more toward a loose or dirty connection somewhere.

Easest try charging for more than 10 min, all that gets you is a surface charge.

ya thats my guess i notced that the cd player doesnt work anymore and i think that it must have a short somewere and drawing power wile it sits because if i jump it will run fine for hours as long as i continue to use it and dont let it sit for any amount of time (10) hrs or so i come back to it and its dead think i have a power draw somewere

Maybe the CD player has a power draw that pulls the batterry down while its sits, or battery is just going bad, disconnect battery after you charge it and see if it holds charge.
