1994 G9 timing how to
Can someone please explain to me how to get the balancer shaft back in time. It came out with the sidecover. I am doing a top end rebuild.Please and thanks

You could do a search, but let's try it again. Your cam, has a good sized hole, used for timing, the crank useualy has a good mark on the teeth of the crank. Now, the balancer useually has a good mark/dot, but not the crank (it was painted on) once the cam is installed correctly, you will need to turn the crank "clockwise" slightly to get the balance mass past the crank mass, then turn it back to top dead center. You should find the marks will form a "V". Hope that helps. If not will try to get a picture for you. Dave
