RPM
On my lifted G16 what is a safe rpm to cruse at and what would be the redline?

Re: RPM
I'm not positive, but I believe 4000 rpm would be max on a stock engine.

Re: RPM
I've heard 4-4500. I used to run mine in that range and never had an issue.

Re: RPM
I try to cruse at 3750 but it will go to 3950.. It now seems to rev higher and I do not feel the governor kick in sense I changed the rear end lube. May just be coincidence. I know I also have some flat spotted rollers.

Re: RPM
Breugel, do you know what speed you are running at 3750 or 3950 rpm?
Also what height your rear tires measure? |

2750 = around 22mph
