Kept the case! and the balancer. Teeth broken on cam and crank, .025 over to be safe, carb rebuild, torque spring, basically short block, plus I had the valves done while in there, etc. Took more pics but must have been out of memory, you need to strain to put a bale of hay or a full 5 gallon gas can in the bed now!!! Camoclad next!

My guess is that's what happened here, except it was either a cam or crank tooth weak link, then the rest let go, or rather exploded under the strees....... like I said, it was used hard.

It is always satisfying to take what others would consider junk and turn it into something useful. Good job!

Well the motor in the old Umax just let go for the fourth time, mainly because my Dad users it like a tractor. Crankshaft and camshaft gone again, parts are expensive for this and I told him it was no longer worth it to rebuild. My Dad is 82 and still works like a dog out at the ranch but doesn't always understand that sometimes it pays to just buy new. Anyway, we have a complete 460 kit coming from VC for it so will start a new thread in the clone section once the install starts.....hope this baby will last.

Great to see you post again my friend! I received a 2007 Ezgo Workhorse for free at work because the cam seized in the head. I ended up useing a HF 22hp Predetor. Hopefully it will be a Workhorse for some one's property when I'm done. Good luck on the engine install
