Re: High rev/cam kit
You want the rev kit on near any BB if you plan on more speed, because then it can rev higher without breaking. The cam kit is a different deal it moves the powerband up and it will make more power, though you might have to change the clutching depending on what you are doing maybe not. With the cam you might want to do other things like exhaust header, larger carb/intake, etc. They will have more effect with the larger cam. If you just want more hill climbing or pulling power then you don't need either. With the rev kit they can usually rev higher than the stock engine without valve float. In general that is what you are looking at, without knowing what kit you are talking about.

Re: High rev/cam kit
Thanks! Just curious on the perks of it! I will stick to just a regular BB kit eventually. All I have around here is flat lands and trail riding

Re: High rev/cam kit
The B&S rev kit was 100 and change last I knew, if you are into speed at all kind of hard to pass that up. The 18 vanguard was the best deal it would really rev hard I was told (with just the rev kit) and beat most BBs in a race, for less $$$. It is supposed to be a 20hp with a 18hp sticker.
