I have a g16 and used 10w-30 semi synthetic in engine and 90w gear oil in rear axle. I've had no problems.

thats what i have been running(90W gear oil). i had never changed it and once i did it seemed the heavy weight slowed the cart down. but now thats its starting to get hot outside it seems there is no problem. question though.when i rolled the cart a few weeks ago alot of the oil came out the hose should i just go ahead and change it?
