How to get the big bolt out of the drive clutch without breaking something. HELP!!!
I have a flat spot on one of my rollers and it looks like I have to take the triangle shaped piece that holds all the rollers out to get one roller off. I put the ratchet to it and of course the whole clutch spins. Do I use some channel locks to grab the clutch and reef on the bolt? I am afraid I will break something. I am in a hurry so I can ride this weekend so any help would be awesome. Thanks guys.

Do have anything like a rubber tire stop or something you could wedge against the clutch to keep it from moving? You'll have to secure it some way and use a breaker bar or 1/2 ratchet: 22mm socket if I remember right, maybe 23, not sure.

I have the 1/2 ratchet and like a dumbass I was going to use a 7/8 socket but now I think you are right about it being a 22mm. The biggest I have is a 21mm. Figures.lol. I might be able to find something to wedge in there. But you dont think it would be a bright Idea to just try to hold the spider part that holds the rollers with a pair of channel locks.

I wouldn't. It might break. I would wedge it somehow on the side/base part of the clutch. Maybe use a ratchet tiedown strap somehow to secure it. Do you know anyone that has a roll around compressor? Even a small compressor should break it loose.

Try this. Get a rubber mallet, the proper socket, and breaker bar if you can (if not use the 1/2 ratchet), and then smack the end of the ratchet handle with the rubber mallet and see if you can break it loose. I've done this a couple of times with some success.
