First Trip with Cart
Well guys, I got the cart almost finished in time to go to Bristol for the race. I loaded it up in my truck and only ran into one small issue. The issue was while unloading I broke one of my ramps, didnt do any damage to anything. The issue came while trying to load the cart. I got a bit stuck in the creek...
And, yes, that is my bus.. "The Tequila Sunrise". This is the main reason in building the cart. We want to take it to races, camping, etc., with the bus. The cart will soon get its name and at the moment "The Tequila Shot" is the winner. Hope you get a kick out of the couple pics. I will update my build thread later this week. |

Yep, I won't have a funeral in the traditional way. My wife will host a
dinner and I hope my friends show up and tell Doug stories. |

Re: First Trip with Cart
We did have a good time and the cart did great... I thought the group would get a kick out of my great decision to back into the creek to load the cart. The truck was fine until I pulled the cart onto the truck. At that point the carts weight made the the truck sink in the mud just a bit to far!
Not a great decision!! |
