Will these Rims & Tires fit on a lifted G2?
This is my first post and I have to say this sight is great, tons of info here.
My question is I have a G2 gas yamaha, I installed a Jakes #6251 6" lift kit. I want to install a 23x10.5-12" tire as used on some golf carts. The rims tire combo I want is a 12"x7" wide rim with a negative -40mm offset. Now when I'm reading they are using either a 12x7 with a -2"inch osset. When I do the conversion from MM to inches, 40mm is about 1.5 inches. So from what I understand it will just move the rim farther out and give me more stability. So has anyone run a 12" rim with the tire I'm using on a G2 with a -1.5 offset or 1.5+5.5 as others say and worked? I was told I may have to cut my rear fenders for rubbing issue which is no problem. Thanks for any help |

i used those tire size with 12" rim on my g2 with no problems, only time it ever rubbed was when i had two larger guys sitting on the back end and going over bumps in the woods the tires would rub on the body, i had the same lift also

Good, I ordered a set and went with a 2+5 offset.
