Default g1 engine bad

so i pulled the top end on my G1 today and its definatly bad. The piston and cylinder wall are definatly scored hard and the piston had some slop to it. im just gonna buy the whole top end rebuild but i wanted to know a couple things.

1. does the new cylinder come bored and honed for the piston?

2. anyone bought from somewhere they really liked or disliked? I would like to deal with a site sponcer as long as they are competative in price.

The new cylinder will be ready to install. If you buy a stock size cylinder you will need a stock size piston. Most of our sponsors can get what you will need.

I have used the aftermarket top-end kits, and they work fine. They are bolt on and go. The last kit I got from BU, but that was before I found this site. I would rather deal with a sponsor if at all possible. Let me know how you make out. Check your lower end for bearing damage. It would be wise to pull the engine out of the cart for a closer inspection. Replace the crank seals at the same time. You may have had one leaking which caused your meltdown.
If you don't determine the cause of your failure, you run the risk of burning up your brand-new top end.

Run some oil in the gas for the first tank, if you still have injection, or run more if you don't. It will run like new if you have no other problems, its that best way to go.

im 99% sure the problem was with the oil injection part. it was the first time i tryed to use it and when i parked it it had a puddle of oil under it (never had it before) then the motor died so i will be mixing from now on.....that way i KNOW its getting oil
