The pic looks like a G2/G9. No oil in the gas. Drain the oil out of the engine
and replace with one quart. Some of those models had mis-marked dip sticks.
Put a new full mark on the dip stick. That should stop oil from blowing into
the air box.

Good advice! I have also seen oil in the airbox from dirt in the carberator, sticking the float needle and gas "washes" past the rings causing the oil level to rise and then......into the airbox. I try to "smell" and "feel" the texture of the oil for gas. If so, just clean the carb and maybe install an inline fuel filter between the fuel pump and carb. (just dont overtighten the nuts holding on the carb...you'll break the carb manifold !) Later Dave

You can also do this: pull the vent hose from the airbox, plug it off at the airbox, attach a fuel filter to the end of the vent hose and then add more hose on the other end of the fuel filter (make sure the flow of the filter is headed out so it will actually vent), and then just run the hose down toward the back of the cart. It will drip a little oil here and there but not a big deal deal if your cart is stored in an outside shed or barn. Your air filter will never get oily again. I have done this to all my G9's and even my G16 when I had it.
